PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 28 September 2026

This website is run by Sue Ritchie’s campaign for Lord Mayor of Sydney. We respect your privacy and only collect the personal information you choose to give us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

What we collect

When you fill in the Have Your Say or Volunteer form, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address and message, and your phone number and address if you choose to provide them.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. We do not use this to identify you.

How we use it

We use the information you send us to read and respond to your message and, if you offered to volunteer, to get in touch about helping out. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted services to run this website:

  • Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our inbox.
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Google Fonts provides the fonts used on the site, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers.

These providers may store or process information outside Australia. We do not otherwise disclose your personal information unless required by law.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

Links to other websites

This website links to other sites, such as Facebook and the Plan C petition. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, and we keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above.

Access, correction and questions

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask any question about this policy, by getting in touch through our Have Your Say page.
